Writers’ Tears Double Oak brings together Single Malt with Single Pot Still after a triple distillation, known as “Champagne of Irish Whiskey,” in Ireland. Fermented in American bourbon oak barrels from Kentucky and French oak cognac barrels from Allary Cooperage- the wonderful result of a collaboration between the Walsh family and the Legaret family in the French Cognac. It is made up of flavors of grapes, citrus and a lingering aftertaste of black chocolate.
