THE VERO BARTENDER COMPETITION BY AMARO MONTENEGRO RETURNS FOR ANOTHER YEAR!

The Vero Bartender: Amaro Montenegro’s most spectacular bartending competition is back for another year, and it has already captivated fans with its new concept!

Amaro Montenegro, Italy’s #1 premium Amaro, invites all creative bartenders to join this year’s competition. This year’s theme takes us into the future… to an unexplored era. Celebrating its 140th anniversary in 2025, Amaro Montenegro is exploring its role in mixology in the year 2165.

Inspired by the year 2165, participants are invited to test their creativity and envision the world of cocktails 140 years from now. Innovative one-sip cocktails? Creations without water? Neon-colored ingredients? This is a chance to think about the future of bartending and beverages, letting your imagination shape new flavors, colors, and ingredients for the next century.

Prizes:

Greek Winner: A 5-day trip to Italy (April 7-11, 2025), including seminars and networking with the most influential bartenders in the industry, plus a place in the Global Vero Bartender Competition Final on April 9, 2025, to compete for the grand prize!

Global Winner: A 3-day trip to Barcelona to attend seminars at one of the world’s top bars, SIPS Barcelona! The global winner will also have the chance to travel worldwide with Amaro Montenegro throughout the year, joining events, masterclasses, and guest shifts!

Requirements:

1) The recipe must be submitted in English.

2) The cocktail should be future-inspired. The concept behind the cocktail should be clear and reflected in every aspect, from taste to presentation.

3) Present it in an original and creative way that aligns with the chosen era (the future – 2165) in every detail, from recipe and ingredients to techniques, garnishes, glassware, etc.

4) The cocktail may include up to five (5) ingredients (excluding garnish), with up to two (2) homemade ingredients.

5) The recipe must contain at least 30 ml of Amaro Montenegro.

6) Each recipe submission must include a high-resolution image/photo of the cocktail.

7) Applications must be submitted exclusively via the Vero Bartender platform:(https://www.theverobartender.com/)

Compliance:

1. All online applications will be collected by the Global Agency, which will verify compliance with competition rules and reject any that do not meet all terms (non-compliant applicants will be notified and allowed to resubmit if desired).
2. All valid applications will be reviewed by the Global Brand Ambassador (Rudi Carraro), who will select candidates for the National Finals.
3. Each market will be responsible for selecting finalists for the National Finals.
