Luxardo Sangue Morlacco Cherry is a very elegant cherry liqueur from Luxardo, made from Italian Marasca cherries and matured for two years in oak barrels. Nicknamed “Sangue Morlacco” (the blood of Morlacco) by the Italian poet Gabriele D’Annunzio in 1919 in honor of the Morlaccos – warriors who fought for the Republic of Venice against the Turks. Served in a cocktail or on its own with an ice cube.
